What do you mean, handout or kickback ?


Oparanya the Governor & CS Kiunjuri the Government representative were both to come up with a formula for the recovery of the entire sugar industry for the benefit of the farmer and the country as a whole. If Oparanya thought the county government should have 5% shareholding then the county could either buy, or alternatively include it in the finalized Task force report for consideration with the national government. But to form a parallel task force similar to the one that was running around in January while he was in the task force with Kiunjuri shows irresponsibility and poor judgement in my view.

Sacked? I think the right term is termination of services. You can't sack someone who does no work,does not report to work, is working elsewhere and the few who hang on,earned last in January of 2018. I also suspect the RM does not know the exact number of employees hence that blanket memo.

The factory itself is in a poor state of repairs and maintenance. Workers je, or the sugarcane will mill itself....
