Overdraft /salary advance

For salaried people , which bank can give a salary advance /overdraft i.e some cash payable at month end when the salary hits the account

My current banker has said no and i have some urgent cash requirement

If it's less than 20000 try KCB Mpesa loan on you safaricom sim menu. See what you can qualify. Then top up the balance with mshwari.

For future Convenience, get a credit card but ensure strict discipline on its use.


Banks will always come to you when you don't need them and dessert you at the hour of need. Credit card with discipline can reduce the pain. Just pay the bill in time

Your options also include Tala and Branch mobile apps. Be warned thst they charge hefty fees for their loans. If you have a Kcb account dial *522# to apply for a mobi loan. If you have an insurance policy you can borrow against it

Stanbic bank. Have banked with them for over 5 years and they don't disappoint. They can give upto 1/3 of your salary. Approval within 24 hours
