Set targets were not being achieved and he was getting a handsome salary

i also heard the previous CEO had bought overpriced land

The land was for future real estate development,at that time economy was doing well so they anticipated price appreciation was to continue

Dividend will either be halved or no dividend and shareholders be compensated with a bonus issue
