Mhasibu Investment Company Limited
Mhasibu Investment Company Limited or MICL has been a member of KAIG since 2007. “Mhasibu” means an accountant in Swahili, MICL was actually started by members of the Mhasibu Sacco society. The formation of the Sacco from which MICL was derived was spearheaded by members of the institute of certified public accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). The Sacco was founded in 1986 with only 37members on board ,its sole purpose was to lend money and they were only allowed to invest 20% of the surplus but this become untenable as the Sacco was completely dependent on the surplus income from loans.
Ramlinks Investment Group
Ramlinks is a truly unique investment group founded on the pillars of Faith, Family and Finances. The group was formed in stages and actually started out as a men’s Bible Study group although Pastor Ondachi assures me they are not a group of pastors contrary to the impression KAIG held. The group however has two pastors. They are very clear about the values they hold. Uppermost and their ultimate goal is that they would stick “together for life” and that they would live up to their name: RAM is an acronym taken from the Phrase “Men of Royal Aroma”; that is that they would have the aroma of Christ.
